Southern BC Chinook Strategic Planning Initiative (CSPI)
The Southern BC Chinook Strategic Planning Initiative (CSPI) is a planning process led by First Nations and Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO). It involves collaboration between multiple interest groups.
The objective is to develop an Integrated Strategic Plan that:
- accounts for the biological status;
- addresses causes of recent declines in productivity and abundance; and
- identifies management actions to improve status.
